The F1 Show and Classic F1 races return to Sky F1 on March 6th

The F1 Show will return on Friday 6th March, it has been confirmed. The show, now in its fourth year, returns to Sky Sports F1 airing as usual from 20:00 to 21:00. As of writing, there is no sign of the première show being longer than an hour, but that could change.

We also don’t know the presenters, or whether the live studio audience will make a return. The presentation team will likely be a combination of Ted Kravitz, David Croft, Rachel Brookes and Natalie Pinkham, and if I’m a betting man, then the studio audience will return.

Elsewhere, Classic F1 makes its return straight after The F1 Show on 6th March, beginning with the 2014 Bahrain Grand Prix.

  1. I hated the studio audience. It was just unnecessary and the questions were rarely interesting. I’d like to see the old studio back. Also, the bias towards Lewis annoys me. That was anxiously going to be the case with the crowd.

  2. I’m with Ben, I felt the studio audience detracted from the show but Sky Sports does it with loads of stuff now.

I would prefer them to return to the old format but with more viewer interaction and maybe three studio guests, e.g. Johnny, driver or former driver and journo.

  3. Completely agree. Final straw was the week David Croft’s in depth audience analysis came to the conclusion that double points in the final race was ok if it meant Hamilton won the championship, but not ok if Rosberg did.

If they’re showing any race from Bahrain – even one of the better ones there – then we will still be waiting for Classic F1 to make its return beyond 6th March.

    • Did you not see Bahrain 2014? It absolutely was a classic and although it is not an old race it certainly deserves it’s status as a classic race.
